About the game

Living droplets of paint-light glide along the frame and wake the dim shards of their own colour. Complete a window and a picture that stood grey for years catches light again. Nobody shoots here — they restore, and every droplet has a temperament of its own.

The story

“You’re not shooting — you’re bringing the light back.”

Once the stained glass of the Old Gallery glowed and sang. Starlight poured through it and every picture came alive: butterflies beat their wings, cats blinked, flowers opened. But time covered the glass in soot and a crust of lead — and the windows went dark.

Then, out of an old master’s forgotten palette, came the kraskoids — tiny living droplets of paint-light. They settled through the gallery in eight families, one per colour, and now they glide along the frames, clearing the dim shards and giving the pictures their light back. Each remembers their family — but all of them work for the same window.

The workshop: the first kraskoid wakes up

Four archetypes

Not one kraskoid carries a weapon — only a shape and a temper. The long one reaches far, the squat one covers wide, and the round one saves up and clears a whole corner at once.

Basic
A simple droplet
The rookie: curious, diligent, and not much of a shot yet. “I’m still learning, but I’m trying.”
Sniper
Elongated, with a long spout
A thoughtful observer, precise at long range. “I see what others don’t.”
Shotgun
Wide and low-slung
A cheerful, sweeping worker who loves covering a lot at once. “The more splashes, the merrier.”
Bomber
Round, with a spark of a fuse
Quiet and powerful: saves up, then clears a whole corner at once. “I’ll say little, but everyone will hear it.”

Eight families

Each of the eight families has its own disposition, and colour here is far more than a match marker. A finished window takes after whoever repaired it.
