Hello, world!

Hi! First post in the Murmio Games devlog. We’re a small studio, so let’s skip the corporate part.

We make the kind of games you sit down with in the evening to switch your head off, not to prove anything to anyone. No lives on a timer, no penalty for wandering off to make tea, no pop-up offering to make it easier for money. Keeping an eye on all of it is Murm the cat: he turned up before the first line of code and has considered the studio his ever since.

In the works

  • Purrshelf — Lapik the kitten sorting out the house after a big clean-up. Sorting, match-3, rooms renovated with stars, and 162 rarities which, honestly, are what the whole thing is for.
  • Kraskoids — living droplets of paint-light repairing the stained glass of the Old Gallery. Nothing to shoot at — this is restoration work.

Both are headed for Yandex Games.

What’s next

We’ll write about the parts that usually stay off-screen: why a screen gets redone eight times, what a sprite looks like when it doesn’t work, and which ideas sounded great right up until we cut them. And cats, obviously.

See you soon! 🐾
